Suzume is a very cute little bird that recently joined the Sumikko Gurashi characters.

As officially introduced as 'just a sparrow,' it's a little bird that appeared out of nowhere.
Maybe because it's food-related, it often comes to peck at tonkatsu with the owl. It's very curious, and recently it's been interested in what's inside the Shirokuma's wrapping cloth.

It gets along very well with the owl that appeared with it, and they often play together or visit other Sumikko Gurashi characters.

Owls are actually nocturnal, but it seems they love Suzume so much that they make the effort to stay awake in the morning and afternoon to play together.
