In fact, the director is Misato, who worked on PUI PUI Molcar! PUI PUI Molcar was a huge hit stop-motion animation in 2021, famous for its wool felt characters that moved as if they were alive! Maybe some sharp-eyed viewers already noticed from the ‘My Melody & Kuromi’ PV and thought, ‘Ah! Could this be made by the PUI PUI Molcar director?’
