Tarepanda is a character created by San-X, resembling a moist and drooping panda. It was born around 1995, and its appearance is undoubtedly that of a 'drooping' panda, but it actually has a mysterious setting that it's quite different from Earth's life forms. Its favorite food is Suama (a type of Japanese sweet). Although it appears fluffy, it actually has no fur, and its length varies from pinchable with fingers to needing to be lifted with arms, ranging from 5cm to 3m. There's a considerable difference between individuals.

The touch is soft and fluffy, with a pleasant warmth. Surprisingly, the surface is moist, making you want to rub your cheek against it. It's said to roll at 2.75m/h, making capture incredibly easy.
