Kabukinyantaro is a very rare male calico cat character from Sanrio.

In fact, Kabukinyantaro is a character co-developed by Shochiku Co., Ltd., which is widely involved in video and theater businesses, and Sanrio Co., Ltd. He was appointed as the “Kabuki Nyanbassador (Ambassador Cat)” to support Shochiku's Kabuki theater.

He is a very rare male calico cat, said to bring good luck. He dreams of performing on a Kabuki stage someday and practices Kabuki lines daily. He began to be nominated for the Sanrio Character Awards in 2018 and has been gradually improving his rank among hundreds of characters in popularity. In the 2023 Sanrio Characters popularity vote, he won 25th place.
