Aji Furai no Shippo is a somewhat positive character among the Sumikko Gurashi members.

Like Tonkatsu, he is a part of food that was left uneaten by humans.
He is the tail part of a fried mackerel, left uneaten because it's hard. He feels lucky to have been left and has a positive personality because of it.

His friend, the tail of Ebi Furai, is always negative, while Aji Furai no Shippo is always positive.
The three of them, including Tonkatsu, are always getting along well. Occasionally, the tail of Ebi Furai gets jealous, which is very cute.
