These outdoor-themed goods are so cute! “Kawauso and Sumikko Camp” is now available!
Kawauso (Otter) appears so often in Sumikko Gurashi themes that they're practically a semi-regular! But did you know? Kawauso actually made their debut right here in this 'Kawauso and Sumikko Camp' theme!
One day, Penguin? went on a solo camping trip to find themselves.
Their chilled cucumber got swept away in the river, causing a total panic......
That’s when “Kawauso” came to the rescue.
Penguin? and Kawauso became fast friends, and soon the other Sumikkos joined in,
leading to a big Sumikko Camp for everyone.
And that's how Kawauso made their first appearance! They actually have a bit of a heavy backstory—being a survivor of an extinct species and having to move from place to place because they're so rare people want to catch them...... but seeing them camp so peacefully and happily with their new Sumikko friends really warms the heart......
The Sumikkos usually seem like indoor types, but this time there are tons of outdoor camping-style goods! With plush bonfires and illustrations of them actually camping, it's a super cute lineup. Definitely check them out as companions for your next outdoor adventure!
