SUKEROKU's daily life is a character created by the hamster artist GOTTE-Sensei.
Originally, GOTTE-Sensei started keeping a kink bear hamster and posted sketches of it on social media.
From there, he gained popularity and attention by continuously posting adorable illustrations of the hamster that had a slight human-like quality.

The hamster SUKEROKU is that very special pet that GOTTE-Sensei started keeping, and SUKEROKU's daily life is a series based on illustrations imagined from “it would be cute if SUKEROKU did this kind of thing.”
Recently, its popularity has soared, with merchandise even being released in collaboration with well-known works. It's a trendy character series often seen in Japan.
SUKEROKU has quite a Japanese name, doesn't it? It's cute. (SUKEROKU is also famous as the name of a Kabuki performance or a type of sushi.)
The illustrations are so well-done! Even though they are drawings, you can still feel the fluffiness of the fur, which makes them extra cute. Recently, the series has become so popular that limited-time merchandise shops are opening. The small-sized capsule toys are cute, just like real hamsters, but the plushies are also adorable!
