KIRIMI Chan. is a character of a two-legged walking salmon fillet, born from Sanrio characters.
It made its major debut in 2014. In fact, 'KIRIMI Chan.' is the name of the work, and the official name of the character of the two-legged walking salmon fillet in the images is 'KIRIMI Chan'.
The character was born from the desire to be deliciously eaten the moment it was sliced. It appeared quite suddenly with that wish.
Along with its many food friends, it continues to grace dining tables with its delicious and colorful presence, waiting for people to eat it deliciously.
Along with its many food friends, it continues to grace dining tables with its delicious and colorful presence, waiting for people to eat it deliciously.
When happy, it is known to shout 'Love! Salmon!' And if it gets even happier, it apparently shouts 'Love! Fish!'.
In the 2023 popularity poll, it narrowly missed making it into the top 10. However, its strong impact has given it a terrifyingly high level of recognition. It's also well-known for its light-hearted tone on its official social media channels.
I knew about KIRIMI Chan, but I didn't know it had so many other character friends.
Me too! I didn't know it had foodie friends! Although KIRIMI Chan didn't make it into the top 10 in the 2023 Sanrio popularity poll, it often gets chosen for collaborations with other works! So I feel like a lot of collaborative merchandise is being released!
Everyone, please make sure to check out the cute KIRIMI Chan merchandise! And of course, don't forget to deliciously eat salmon, just as KIRIMI Chan would want you to!
