What is Yoroi-san?

Yoroi-san is a sub-character that appears in Chiikawa: Nanka Chiisakute Kawaii Yatsu.
As it appears, it's a humanoid species that looks like it's clad in armor (plate armor).
It can refer to an individual name or a term that refers to the entire species.
