What is Usamaru?

Usamaru is a character and its companions created by Japanese illustrator sakumaru-Sensei. The birth of Usamaru was triggered by winning the grand prize in the “LINE Creators Stamp AWARD” character contest held in Japan in 2015. Usamaru, a pure white rabbit boy, and his friends, known as Usamaru Friends, are living a noisy everyday life in this very cute series.
In Japan, it's mainly popular as LINE stamps, and character goods are also widely sold. At LINE CREATORS SHOP in Tokyo Station, many shop-limited Usamaru goods are lined up, and it is becoming increasingly popular among foreign customers who use Tokyo Station.
