Hello everyone~! This is Saori from Kawaii Republic!
This time! They're back again this year! And they're so cute! Limited edition New Year's Sumikko Gurashi goods that make your New Year happy, cute, and easy to decorate with are here~!
【Sumikko Gurashi】Celebrate the New Year 2025! Limited Edition Sumikko Gurashi Characters in Snake Costumes, the Lucky Animal of 2025, for the New Year Collection 2025!
Featuring snake-themed costumes inspired by the lucky animal of 2025, as well as designs themed around kagami mochi and Mount Fuji, said to bring good fortune for the New Year!
The Christmas-themed plushies released a little while ago were cute, but the New Year's plushies are adorable too! Many of them are dressed in costumes inspired by the 2025 zodiac animal, the lucky snake, or themed around New Year's! Personally, I think this kagami mochi-style Shirokuma plushie is so cute!
Kagami mochi is an offering made to welcome the New Year deity, 'Toshigami-sama'! After displaying it, you can eat the mochi, but it feels like this Shirokuma plushie could absorb all of 'Toshigami-sama's' power and bring happiness if displayed for the whole year......! Be sure to check out this Sumikko Gurashi Collection 2025 New Year's Edition, which can bring happiness not just for New Year's but for all of 2025!
