Today, I have some exciting new anime news! Those super cute characters will be causing a stir on TV in 2025!

The released footage is incredibly cute, just like a picture book! (Though I can't help but notice the zipper on the back is about to open the whole time......)So, it has been decided that RILAKKUMA, loved all over the world, will be adapted into an anime series in 2025! This is such exciting big news!

The production for this anime is being handled by Production I.G, a studio well-known for creating hit action-packed anime like Haikyuu!! and Kaiju No. 8!......I don't think there will be many action scenes in Rilakkuma, though,but from the footage released, you can tell they’re really preserving the gentle and adorable world of Rilakkuma!

The main characters will be Rilakkuma, Korilakkuma, Kiiroitori, and Chairoikoguma! Personally, I’d love to see some of the cute characters that have appeared in the merchandise series so far! I'm a big fan of Aoi Ko Ookami, so I'm really hoping they’ll make an appearance in the anime! I'm already looking forward to it! I'd love to see them bouncing around and going on various adventures just like in the footage that’s been released!
