Hello everyone. Today, I would like to introduce this duo, which is especially popular among Sanrio characters.
A duo! We've only ever introduced individual characters before...... Shouldn't we vote separately for each character in a popularity poll?
That's not possible! After all, it doesn't make sense unless the two are always together! Even people overseas who love Sanrio characters must surely know the names of these twin characters!

What are the Little Twin Stars?
The Little Twin Stars are members of the Sanrio characters, and are the embodiment of twin stars named Lala and Kiki in human form.
They are characters that Sanrio created in 1975 for Christmas promotion. The sister with pink hair is Lala and the brother with blue hair is Kiki.
Kiki is Lala's twin brother. He enjoys fishing for stars and inventing. He loves discovering new stars, and can fly in the sky using the stars on his back. He loves sweet things, especially the pancakes that Lala makes for him. His favorite season is from spring to summer.
Lala is Kiki's twin sister. She enjoys drawing and writing poetry. She also makes necklaces and hair ornaments with the stars that Kiki catches. Although she is a bit of a scaredy-cat and crybaby, she is good at cooking and serves delicious food to Kiki. Her favorite season is from autumn to winter.
I've always referred to these two as Kiki and Lala. So, their official name is Little Twin Stars.
Exactly. I guess most Japanese kids probably refer to them as Kiki and Lala rather than Little Twin Stars. It's characteristic that there are many fancy goods, especially those related to constellations.
I feel like I used to have a lot of shiny Kiki and Lala goods when I was a child...... I loved stars and the moon, so I really love the cute and fashionable Kiki and Lala goods!
