Hello everyone~! This is Saori from Kawaii Republic!

This time, we have some adorable plushies themed around Tanabata 2025! Normally we get about three characters...... but this year, it looks like many more have joined in!

Tanabata is a traditional Japanese event held on July 7th! It’s a festival that celebrates the reunion of Orihime and Hikoboshi in the heavens, so lots of star-themed items tend to come out! This time, the Chiikawa characters appear in colorful star costumes and they are just so cute~! (I tried to find any original reference illustrations but couldn’t—it looks like these are newly drawn designs!)

The size is H120×W110×D50mm, perfectly palm-sized and adorable as you can see in the photos! The keychain part also features a star-shaped accessory that looks familiar, adding an extra level of cuteness! There’s a good variety of characters and star colors, so be sure to choose your favorite from the Chiikawa: Wish upon a Star...... Mascot lineup!
